Due to the uncertain nature of Covid restrictions, The Museum cannot schedule events without the possibility of cancellation.

The summer season for the museum is from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.  You should consult our Facebook page to find out whether we will be open for tours, or schedulding events.

Office open all year Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10am-2pm
Archives & Genealogy Rooms Open, year around, Wednesdays 10am- 2pm. Other times by appointment.

SCHA Covid Policy
In compliance with Michigan's health orders, as well as to protect public health and the safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff, the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum will be open  for visits and tours only as allowed.  However, our beautiful grounds are always open and visitors are welcome to wander at any time.  The Museum will remain closed to the general public until further notice, with the exception of the Farmers' Market and several possible outdoor events.
