Brittany Finn

Brittany Finn has been a lifelong resident of Sanilac County and has served as Administrative Assistant at the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum since June 2023. In this role, she supports daily operations through event planning and booking, volunteer coordination and correspondence, and general administrative and clerical functions.

Stepping into this position has deepened Brittany’s knowledge of Sanilac County history and strengthened her appreciation for the community in which she was raised. She especially values the opportunity to meet new people and to build meaningful relationships with the dedicated volunteers whose time and commitment are essential to the museum’s mission.

Meet the Buildings & Grounds Manager:
Dan Meinhard

Dan Meinhard serves on the paid staff of the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum, providing facilities, grounds, and project management support in collaboration with staff and volunteers. A resident of Michigan’s Thumb region and a United States Marine Corps veteran, Dan brings extensive hands-on experience in building construction, fire safety, woodworking, and equipment maintenance.

Since becoming involved with the museum in 2023, he has contributed to a wide range of site improvements, including restoration work on the WWII Troop Kitchen Car, historic building repairs, grounds maintenance, and infrastructure projects. Dan is committed to preserving the museum’s historic assets and supporting the volunteers who help care for the site and its collections.
