Vice-President

Renee is a Sanilac Township resident and active member of the Historical Society. She is committed to strengthening the museum’s programs and community engagement.
Gene Denison
Secretary

Gene is a long-time Port Sanilac resident with a strong interest in local and military history. He supports the Society’s mission through continued leadership and service.
Gail Nartker
Treasurer

Gail is a retired library director with experience in leadership and financial stewardship. She supports the museum’s long-term sustainability and community impact.
George Lawson
Director
3 Year Term – 9/30/28
George has been involved with the Historical Society for many years and supports preservation efforts. He remains committed to maintaining and enhancing the museum grounds.
Ron Erickson
Director

Ron has been a member of the Historical Society for over 20 years and has served on the Board for more than a decade. He supports preservation of the museum’s historic buildings and landscape.
Gil Oris
Director

Gil has been an active member since 2008 and has contributed to restoration projects and committees. He is dedicated to preserving Sanilac County’s history for future generations.
Angie Wagester

Angie is a Sanilac County native who began volunteering out of a love for local history. She is committed to safeguarding community stories and supporting the museum’s mission.
Joe Conye

Joe supports the Historical Society’s preservation efforts and community initiatives. He is committed to maintaining the museum’s historic buildings and grounds.
Susan Broadwell

Susan has been actively involved in museum projects for several years. She remains dedicated to advancing the museum’s mission and service to the community.
